Jennifer earned her Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh in 2014. She is certified in trauma therapy and has extensive experience working with individuals experiencing addiction and their family members, as well as providing family and individual counseling. Jennifer uses a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-based techniques, and Motivational Interviewing, to support her clients.
Jennifer is an out-of-the-box thinker and enjoys working with her clients in an array of different techniques. She has experience working with adoption-related trauma, infertility, couples, the LGBTQ+ community, as well as multicultural and transracial families.
In addition to her therapeutic experience, Jennifer recently taught a community class at Westmoreland Community College for families struggling to accept their LGBTQ+ family member. She was able to work with several individuals as they began the journey of loving their family member or close friend, while also experiencing their own grief, sadness, and confusion.
Jennifer is accepting clients Monday through Wednesday through Seyler – Berkebile Marriage & Family Therapy outside Greensburg, PA. She sees clients in office on Mondays and Tuesdays, and virtually on Wednesdays. Clients need only reside in Pennsylvania to be seen by Jennifer virtually.
